OG CLEAN FUELS CELEBRATES 15-YEAR ANNIVERSARY AS MARKET LEADER IN CLEAN FUELS!

OG Clean Fuels celebrates its 15-year anniversary as a leading multinational clean fuels company on June 1st. What started at the garden table of founder Marcel Borger in 2008 as OrangeGas, and opened its first refueling station in 2009, has grown into a dynamic company operating in four European countries. With almost 300 locations and a turnover of 200 million euros, OG Clean Fuels (OG) is the market leader in clean fuels.

Since its establishment, OG has strived to make a difference in European clean mobility, starting with Bio-CNG filling stations in the Netherlands. After successfully establishing a network of more than 80 stations in the Netherlands, the move to Germany was made in 2017, where more than 120 stations are now operational. Sweden followed in 2019 with the acquisition of five stations in the Helsingborg area. In 2022, 40 stations were added to the network with the acquisition of Fordonsgas making a total of 50 stations. This year also saw the opening of two new stations in Italy.

OG's vision revolves around a multi clean fuels approach, thus representing all clean fuels, such as Bio-CNG, BIO-LNG, EV, Hydrogen and HVO100. OG is convinced that the use of various clean fuels is essential to achieve the set goals and make clean mobility possible for all. OG recognizes that EV and Hydrogen alone are not enough to achieve the ambition of clean mobility before 2040.

The existing network will be continuously expanded. By doing so, OG aims to realize so-called ‘Dream Filling Stations’ where only various clean fuels are offered. These filling stations are therefore 100% green! Besides growth within the current countries, there are ambitious plans to expand to 6-7 countries, including the UK. By 2030, the aim is to have a network of more than 1,000 locations across Europe, with a turnover of €1 billion. With this, OG aims to become Europe's largest independent clean fuels retailer.

"We enthusiastically look to the future and the opportunities ahead. With determination, we will continue to innovate and expand our network of clean fuel stations. Together, we will accelerate the transition to sustainable mobility and make a positive impact on the world. The future is promising, and we are ready to play the leading role in moving towards cleaner and greener mobility." - Marcel Borger, founder and managing director of OG Clean Fuels.
