OG Clean Fuels, Europe’s leading provider of exclusively clean fuels for road transport, announces its first step into France through the acquisition of Proviridis. With this expansion, OG Clean Fuels operates in nearly 400 locations across the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Sweden — and now— France, underscoring its commitment to making sustainable transport accessible across Europe and reaching €150 million revenue by 2026.
“This acquisition marks an important milestone in our European growth strategy,” says Marcel Borger, Founder and CEO of OG Clean Fuels. “France is one of Europe’s most dynamic and fastest-growing market for Bio-CNG and LNG (and shortly, Bio-LNG). By combining our clean fuels expertise with the strong local foundation of Proviridis. Together, we can accelerate the transition of road transport in Europe.”
OG will also welcome all 25 employees to their existing team resulting in a total of 120 members of staff. And this is just the beginning: OG Clean Fuels will continue to invest over the next five years, towards its targeted revenue of €500 million. The company is backed by a €150 million investment by Pioneer Point Partners.
The network includes 19 multi fuel stations strategically located along major transport corridors and key industrial areas such as Paris, Dourges, Lyon, and Marseille. These stations serve many of France’s leading logistics and heavy-transport operators and are known for their reliability, availability and proximity to customer depots, which has built strong customer loyalty over time. Many of these clients operate internationally.
About Proviridis
Founded in 2012, Proviridis has built a nationwide network of multifuel stations under the brand V-GAS (CNG/LNG) and developed the Z-E-N (Zero Emission Network) brand for high-power electric charging stations. Both designed specifically for heavy-duty and long-haul transport.
With its expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of multifuel public stations, the Proviridis team also offers turnkey private stations for the depots of major transport and logistics players.
By integrating these brands into the OG Clean Fuels network, OG will further expand its multifuel offering, strengthen its local partnerships, and ensure consistent, high-quality fueling experience for international fleets operating across Europe. In the coming months, all Proviridis stations will be rebranded to OG’s identity.
