INDOOR CHAMPION SENIORS
The sprinting talent was considered a diamond in the rough three years ago. At the age of 15, Seedo finished third among the seniors at the NK 60 meters indoor. Behind the big names like Dafne Schippers and Jamile Samuel. A year later she even captured the national title. An injury led to an ailment, but now it seems to have come to an end. In Apeldoorn she became Dutch champion for the second time in the 60m.
The young champion was relieved, also by the good time she ran. "It went so bad last year. I train just as hard as last year, but now it comes out." How come? "No idea," said the sprint star, who competes at the World Indoor Championships in three weeks. "I'm eighteen, a final place is still a bit too high I think, but I hope to run under 7.20 seconds and reach the semi-finals."
ACISCS INDOOR U20 CHAMPION
In addition to becoming Dutch champion in the 60m this weekend, Seedo also became Indoor Champion Acics Indoor u 20 two weeks ago. The sprint talent is in top form and is getting ready for the World Indoor Championships in three weeks.
