Highlight in career
Mandy's highlights in her career were her debut in the Dutch 11-team, the 90 international matches, the captaincy in the national team and various clubs, first time qualifier World Cup in history of Dutch women's soccer, the World Cup in Canada, winning EK2017, the experiences at the clubs in the different countries, the friendships through soccer, winning prizes, championships and cups, Champions League matches and the television work (analyses) that Mandy is able to combine next to her active soccer career.
Pre-match ritual
Mandy is not much of a ritualist and does not do many things differently than on other days. One habit of our OG Hero is that she eats more in the run-up to a match to have enough energy. She also listens to a lot of music on match-day.
Dream Career
Mandy's dream is to win all the awards with her club PSV ,and to make others happy and inspire them with her achievements as a team.
Hobbies
Besides playing soccer, Mandy likes to go to the forest or beach for a stroll with her dog, meet up with her friends and family, cook and read. Mandy also likes to keep learning new things and of course driving around on Bio-CNG in her beautiful OG car!
Guilty pleasure
A paella on Sunday!
